Semi-detached House (Mokotów)
Architecture, House Revamping

The building is located in the district of Mokotów, within a single-family development area on the Warsaw escarpment. It constitutes a part of the semi-detached house dating back to the 1950s.

The building was in poor condition, therefore, before beginning the design process we analyzed (together with our engineers) the condition of the existing facility as well as the possibility of its reconstruction. Later, a construction project and an executive design including the reconstruction and extension of the building were developed.

The design brings out the entire potential of this small house. Courageous decisions concerning the demolition of ceilings as well as some external and internal walls made it possible to obtain optimal interior proportions and to shape them with natural light coming through enlarged windows on the ground floor, glass ceiling of the living room as well as roof windows. In this way we obtained a unique atmosphere.

We have prepared a detailed interior design tailored to the needs of the Residents. We have also obtained all necessary agreements and supervised the procedure of issuing the building permit and the construction.
